H3 Max Multi Angle
Most image-to-video models take camera direction as words and interpret them. This one takes numbers: each keyframe is an angle, a height and a distance, and the model moves the camera through them while the scene stays completely still.

The four numbers
What a keyframe actually says
Each pose is four values. Three place the camera in space; the fourth says when it should be there.
Time
0 to 1Normalized, not seconds — 0 is the first frame and 1 is the last, whatever duration you pick. The first pose is held before its own time, and the last one is held to the end, so a trajectory that starts at 0.3 opens on a still.
Angle (azimuth)
degrees, signedHorizontal position around the subject. It is unbounded and signed, so 360 is a full turn one way and -360 is a full turn the other. Going from 0 to 720 orbits twice.
Height (elevation)
-90 to 90Vertical angle. 0 is level with the subject, 90 is directly overhead, -90 is directly below. Steep angles change the shot far more than most people expect — 30° already reads as a crane.
Distance
above 0How far out the camera sits, in scene units rather than metres. Treat 1 as "where the photo was taken from" and move from there: 0.4 is close, 1.5 is a pull back.
Boundaries
What this model will not do
Multi-angle is a narrow tool, and knowing the edges saves credits. It moves the camera around a frozen scene. That is the whole capability, and fal states the exclusions directly.
Not available on this endpoint
- Zoom — focal length never changes; you move the camera closer instead.
- A push-in intro — the shot starts at your first pose, with no lead-in move.
- Camera roll — the horizon stays level throughout.
- Subject motion — the scene is rigid by design. People do not walk, water does not flow.
If you want a shot where the subject moves, or one that zooms, pushes or rolls, that is the ordinary H3 route and its camera language — the 20 published camera moves covers those, and they are written as words rather than numbers.

Priced per second of output, so a 5-second orbit costs half of a 10-second one at the same tier.

Credit costs are computed from list rates, not launch promotions, so they do not jump when a discount ends.
FAQ
Multi-angle questions
Why does the camera language from other H3 models not work here?
This endpoint does not read camera words at all. It takes the trajectory array and uses the prompt only to hold the scene rigid — writing "the camera pans left" in the prompt changes nothing. That is also why the default prompt is a freeze instruction rather than a scene description.
Can I orbit more than once around the subject?
Yes. Angle is signed and unbounded, so 0 to 720 is two full turns. fal caps total travel at 32 turns across the whole trajectory, which is far past anything useful in a 15-second clip.
Why did my render come out static?
Usually because every keyframe holds the same angle, height and distance. The studio flags that before you spend anything. The other cause is a trajectory whose poses all sit within a few degrees of each other — the move is there, it is just too small to read.
Is 1080P worth double the credits?
It is a latent refinement of a native 768P render rather than a true 1080P generation, so it sharpens detail without adding any. For delivery it can be worth it; for judging a trajectory, 480P tells you the same thing for a fifth of the cost.
Can I use a photo of a person?
Yes, and the rigid-scene behaviour is what makes it useful — the subject holds their pose while the camera arcs around them. Expect the same likeness limits any image-to-video model has at extreme angles: the model is inferring the parts of the scene the photo never showed.
What happens if my first keyframe is not at time 0?
The first pose is held from the start of the clip until its own time, so the video opens on a still and then begins moving. That is a legitimate way to add a beat before the orbit starts.
